Complete this task to create a VM Group for the control plane VMs for each TKG Service cluster.
For each
TKG Service cluster, create a VM Group comprising its control plane node VMs. If the cluster has a single control plane node, you still need to add it to a group so you can bind it to a site, which is the next task in the workflow.
Note: Repeat this procedure for each
TKG Service cluster you provision in the vSAN stretched cluster topology.

In addition, this task assumes you have provisioned a TKG Service cluster.
Procedure
- In vCenter Server, select the vSphere Cluster object where Supervisor is enabled.
- Select .
- Configure the VM Group for the TKG cluster control plane VMs.
- Name: Enter the name for the VM Group, such as:
tkgs-cluster1-cp-VmGroup
- Type: Select VM Group from the menu
- Members: Click Add and select each cluster control plane node VM
Note: The interface displays up to 15 VMs, in alphabetical order. If you do not see the cluster control plane VMs, enter an appropriate string in the filter search field.Note: Make sure you are selecting the control plane nodes and not the worker nodes. Control plane nodes do not include "worker" in the name.
- Click OK to add the cluster control plane VMs to the
tkgs-cluster1-cp-VmGroup
